Reading Wrap Up | Books I Read in Q2 2022
Another quarter down, another stack of books read. The past few months were pretty busy for me with work and my personal life, so I feel like I didn’t spend as much time reading. But, I’m still on track to completing my annual goal of reading 24 books in 2022!
I’ve been trying my best to get through my TBR stack, especially the ones that have been sitting there for a while.

MY THOUGHTS:
FINALLY read this this book. Only a few years late. I had seen the movie when it came out, so I was able to picture it all as I read. I enjoyed it!
MY THOUGHTS:
Another hyped up book all over social that I had to read. It kinda started off a little slow for me. Very predictable, two people who weren’t meant to fall in love end up falling in love trope. But, I still really enjoyed it! It gets pretty spicy with the sex scene. That’s when things really heat up!
MY THOUGHTS:
Another great personal development book completed. Think Again is, well, about thinking again. A lot of us are so set in our opinions and ways of thinking. But, what would happen if we were all more open-minded and listened to others that may have different opinions and ideas? Actually understanding where someone else is coming from and their experiences. I love when authors summarize everything at the end of the book so I can connect all the chapters because, sometimes, I forget what I just read. Even if it’s a great book!
MY THOUGHTS:
I was not feeling this book at first. It starts off with the murder and learning more about the murder victims’ parents as they get to know each other. It was a fairly slow process, but once the action started, I did not want to put the book down! The main characters were not great parents, but they start to grow on you a bit as you get to know them more.
MY THOUGHTS:
This was such an interesting book and concept of how you can pretty much determine who will be successful. It made me think about my past, my kids’ futures, and how I can help them be successful. It made me even more grateful for the life I have lived so far.
MY THOUGHTS:
I loved how it went back and forth between past & present. It kept me trying to piece the puzzle together throughout the whole story. How things that were slowly being revealed from the past were aligning with what was being discovered in the present. Some things were predictable. Overall, it was a great book that had moments where I did not want to put it down.
